California Lutheran Academy welcomes CMCS families!

We were recently made aware of the difficult news that Calvary Murrieta Christian School will be closing at the end of this academic year. As CMCS families seek God’s direction and explore options for the fall, our school would be grateful for the opportunity to support you and provide a Christ-centered community for your children.

With 50 years of experience as a Christian school, we are confident your family will feel at home at CLA.

California Lutheran High School is now California Lutheran Academy.

This past year, we expanded our high school and added K–8 classes to our campus. With the wonderful, experienced faculty members who have joined our community, we have space for new families as we continue to grow. In addition to our high school program, we now offer classes for kindergarten through eighth grade.

To help CMCS parents learn more about what we offer, we will be hosting an informational evening on Tuesday, December 16 at 6:30 PM in our chapel. You are invited to come on your own or with your students. Please feel free to RSVP by email or by calling 951-678-7000, though an RSVP is not required to attend.

During this gathering, families will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore our K–12 academic programs

  • Tour the campus and visit classrooms

  • Learn about our focus on Christian discipleship, academics, and student life

  • Meet our admissions team, teachers, and staff

  • Ask questions and receive personalized support

  • Pick up information on tuition, enrollment, and next steps

This event is simply meant to be helpful—there are no expectations or commitments. Our desire is to offer our assistance as you navigate this transition.

Enrollment is completed online, and our admissions team is ready to assist you each step of the way. Our school is fully accredited through WASC.

California Lutheran has been serving families through Christ-centered education since 1977!

NOW, we’ve added K-8th Grades!

  • Centered on Christ

At California Lutheran Academy, everything begins with Jesus. He’s our focus, our foundation, and the heartbeat of our ministry. His Word shapes how we teach, learn, and live. His grace fills our relationships—and it transforms our community daily.

At CLA, students step forward with confidence because they know they never walk alone—Christ leads every step they take.

Our goal? For every student to know Jesus personally and grow in a faith that shapes how they think, how they live, and how they love others.

With a Christ-centered foundation, students leave CLA ready to live with wisdom, purpose, and confidence wherever they may go.

  • Supporting through Relationships

Students grow best in relationships shaped by the love of Jesus—and at CLA, that love fuels everything we do.

Every student at CLA is known by name. Loved with intention. Supported through spiritual guidance and a deep sense of belonging. This is community that changes lives.

Our Cal Lu teachers don’t just teach—they walk with students every day. Through real conversations, coaching moments, and one-on-one check-ins, they help students rise.

California Lutheran Academy: This place feels like family. The friendships, faith, and mentorships built here last long after graduation—and they keep shaping students for life.

  • Equipped to Rise

Our Christ-centered academic program doesn’t just teach—it ignites confidence! Students discover who they are in Christ as they grow, think, and lead boldly.

Small classes = big growth. With a low student-to-teacher ratio, CLA students get focused attention and meaningful challenges that launch them forward.

Students thrive when they’re supported academically, emotionally, and spiritually—and that’s exactly what they experience every day at CLA.

CLA students rise. They step into every opportunity with courage, faith, and a purpose-driven heart—ready to serve wherever God calls.
