CALIFORNIA LUTHERAN & CORONAVIRUS UPDATES: Fall 2020 Return-to-Campus Plan
At the end of May, California Lutheran formed a task force to create a plan outlining how CLHS students could return to school safely in light of the Coronavirus. This committee studied reports from health officials, government orders and recommendations, and plans from other boarding high schools and universities. You will see the breadth of their study and the overarching display of the responsibility we have for the health and safety of our campus family.
Review our Safe Return to School Plan and feel free to call or email with any questions you may have. We all realize that the COVID-19 pandemic is an ever-changing situation. There may be adaptations to this plan required at various times throughout the school year.
California Lutheran High School will offer in-person school, five days a week as soon as is determined legal and allowed by the state of California and Riverside County. Concurrently, online schooling will be available for students, who for various reasons, may be unable to come to campus for school. At this time, classes are required by the California Department of Health to begin virtually starting on September 1. Our administrative team strives to offer in-person education as soon as possible.
Thank you to the task force and all those involved: teachers, board of directors, parents, and students.
CALIFORNIA LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL NEWS
CLHS Class of '18
I cannot stress how grateful I am to be able to go to a high school where I can openly worship God and exercise that gift in daily fellowship with my classmates. Cal Lutheran's small school aspect offers me and all students countless ways to get involved and display our God-given gifts and abilities to His glory. Whether in academics, sports, music, or drama, you have that opportunity to succeed in it all at CLHS.
Chris & Sarah Dunn Parents of Child in CLHS Class of '21
We love the diversity of programs and extracurricular activities offered to our kids including sports, music, and drama. The student body is filled with a spirited and welcoming group of young adults. We couldn't ask for a better well-rounded school for our children, all with a Christ-centered approach!

Future Parent of Child in CLHS Class of '26
As a parent, having a Christ-centered high school for my children has always been one of my top priorities. I appreciate the wonderful teachers, small classroom sizes and family-like environment that encompasses CLHS.
I look forward to my daughter being cared for in that environment.
