How many students attend CLHS?

  • About one hundred students attend California Lutheran High School.

What is the student/teacher ratio at CLHS?

  • CLHS has a very low student to teacher ratio. Our most current numbers set the student/teacher ratio at 9 to 1!

What is the CLIP program?

  • The CLIP program is the California Lutheran International Program. See "International Students" under the Admissions tab for more information.

What does WELS and ELS stand for?

  • WELS stands for the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. ELS stands for the Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Congregations within these two church bodies work together to run and support California Lutheran High School.
